• ATM, IP, Sonet, VLAN and Optical are only a few of the categories in which we hold Networking patents and intellectual property. We were the first to demonstrate mobile and secure IP. In the same year, working with Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc., we provided the first available support of TMF 814. As a result, Service Providers will benefit from successful interoperability of Element and Network Management Systems.

Mobility

• Today, emergency workers and our armed forces are able to coordinate and act more effectively thanks to our recent efforts with wireless networks. We have also made notable advances in 4G and beyond.

Semiconductor Devices & OEIC's

• Our work in the area of Displays supported the development of MPEG and other efficient digital video standards allowing audio-visual information to be compressed and transmitted over widely available digital communications lines. • Our efforts in Call Processing ensure that the 800 database can process calls without service interruptions.

Security

• Our security efforts have reduced security policy configuration time from months to minutes and demonstrated successful detection of hostile attacks. Quantum cryptography breakthrough demonstration we demonstrated a provable unbreakable code.
